"Born in Oxford, England, I received my shamanic calling in a downtown Los Angeles apartment, a block away from MacArthur park. (Not the most auspicious of beginnings I grant you, in the midst of the L.A gangs). I had been trying to ignore the call for the previous two years and blind to it since birth. Oh! How things change. In retrospect the signs and visions were there for as far back as I can remember.
This can be lonely work and I battled on alone for the first twelve months coming up against disappointment and frustration along the way. But once a calling is received, there is no turning back. Universal wisdom and power is there for all. We just have to learn to access it. Over time connections to spirit allies and deities start to produce answers and the power to heal follows.
How do I make sense of it all? I don't always. I value my work on results and the feedback I receive.
So, my quest has taken me to California, Tennessee and now back to England where I have trained with the Sacred Trust who are based in Dorset and The Warrior in the Heart at Glastonbury, Somerset through The Isle Of Avalon foundation.
In August 2009 I attended the Shamans drum workshop with Peter Bengry of Being in Beauty. Discovering how to connect with the spirit of the drum and learning how to use it as a healing tool. I am also now at Reiki 2nd degree which I incorporate into my work in tandem with Qi gong healing.
With a fast expanding interest and knowledge in chaos magick and freestyle shamanic techniques, one day I will open a retreat centre for seekers to use as a training base or simply as a place to come and find peace, reflection or silence.
Until then, based in Oxford, UK, I work spiritually and magickally as best I can for the good of all.
I am registered with The Warrior in the Heart foundation as a fully qualified Shamanic practitioner and insured by Holistic services insurance.
My shamanic name is "Hero of the muddy waters" and my star-people moniker-"Heronadon."
