It is traditional in most, if not all indigenous shamanic cultures to bring a donation to the shaman who is working on your behalf. Also, after any healing work you should be prepared to travel to the outside world and give thanks in the form of a gift to Mother earth and the nature spirits. Unfortunately we live in a cash lead society and modern, Western shamans need to pay the mortgage just like everybody else does.
